Our story
Why this exists.
Almost everyone learns the same lesson in the same order: first we assume there will be more time, and then we find out there was not.
Ours to Love exists to move that lesson earlier — to the dinner table, the phone call, the ordinary Tuesday — so that the things people say at funerals get said in kitchens instead.
Do not wait until someone is gone to understand what they meant to you.
Origin
Felice.
The idea took its first physical form as an olive farm in Padula, Italy, developed in honor of Felice — a life measured in meals, work, family and stories rather than possessions.
That is where the name came from, and where the philosophy is being put into soil. But the origin is not the point.
This does not belong to any one person.
No founder stands at the center of Ours to Love. The belief is older than this website and larger than anyone maintaining it: life is a gift, people are gifts, and the right response is presence and gratitude while there is still time.
If the idea is useful to you, it is yours. Live it in your own family, your own language, your own kitchen. That is the whole movement.
